About Me

I recently graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in marine biology. After taking a year of graduate level biology courses, I took a job as a student services contractor for the Environmental Protection Agency. At the EPA I worked in the field of microbiology, where I eventually gained an interest in bioinformatics. I hope to be able to apply my knowledge of microbiology, virology, and bioinformatics in the emerging field of eScience. I am currently working on a project to understand the data management requirements of research faculty at Syracuse University.
